Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
My paint masks didn't really agree with me and I didn't have any white, so I only got one set of silver and black checkers. Oh well, I think he will like it just fine. Man this thing runs good.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
So I took most of the stuff from the mid motor truck and the rest of my parts and put together an actual basher/runner. Something I wouldn't feel bad about breaking and had everything I actually want in an RC.
It's a C stamp 10T pan with a purple hue, a mix of white parts and black arms/misc other pieces. I used some gold shocks, re-oiled and no leaks. Front and rear old school white bumpers went on. The pan is drilled for a straight shot steering servo placement, so I just mounted up a futaba servo on tall mounts with a nice servo saver and the steering rod is straight as can be.
A white stealth with a rebuilt diff, a few bearings added and a T4 slipper went in. Under an RPM gear cover, I meshed the 81T spur with a 20T pinion on a Brushed 20T GT550 14.4V motor run by an 1060EZrun ESC. Powering it is a 3S LIPO 3000mah, 30C battery (That fits perfectly). I threw in a cheapo 2.4hz TX/RX that works well.
The tires are new gladiators and bar codes in the front.
I cut a couple rear holes and threw the body on and took it out. It was a little wheelie happy until I backed the slipper off, but it is super smooth, grippy and has lots of useable power. Overall I think this one will be about the most fun I have had with a vintage 10T.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
The current Fleet. I sold and gave away the T3's, but I think I still might need to sell a few.

The 10T's are interesting, One is untouched 7001, skinny fronts, all white parts. Two is revived to runner status 7001, wide fronts, all white parts.
Then the white parts basher with the early style black arms that match the 7001 except for color, and the all black one with the totally new style of black arms.

Re: Jimbo302's Trucks
Thanks. I wanted to fiddle with the gold pans a bit and I had to come to my senses and get rid of most of them though. I kept the upgraded #7011 10T and the T4. So I still have the bashers.
I just sold the last one, that was just sitting on the shelf; and a memorial to the all old RC10's that had to go to make room for new projects:
