I am sure the GT rear suspension mount will work on a 10T or T2. They only made the right mount a little different to clear the spur gear on the GT, and you can cut off the rear battery/bumper mounting tab. 99% sure it will work! That means they will fit a tub type RC10 buggy as well.
Note: You should use 0 deg hubs for 3 deg per side, or reverse 1.5 deg hubs to get a total of 1.5 deg per side.

gt mounts will attach to the chassis, but because of the offset of where the arm attaches to the mount compared to the mounting points, they shorten up the wheelbase about 3/16 of an inch.

I remember someone making a post on here about trying to fit them to an RC10 and the hole spacing was different so they didn't line up with the holes on the chassis.

That's not good news, no wonder the original suspension mounts cost so much on eBay! I need to look deeper into making them work. I told VINTAGE AE that I thought they would work for his project car.
Back when I ran RC10GT's and broke a rear mount, I know I made a old RC10 mount work on my GT with a little cutting. Can't see why it will not work the other way around. I will look into it.
If not, I owe VINTAGE AE some mounts!

hey rod, no worries

I recently bought some original rear mounts off of ebay, so I got it covered

I just got to dye them black. If you have black ones and want white ones we can swap them. Sorry guys, white doesn't go with what I'm doing.

White stuff is hard to get!

Broke another rear arm mount, so far i've broken 3 and only left ones so I can't even make a good set out of them!
On the plus side, got this team truck body at the track today for $20($15usd). Was offered to me because i'm the only guy running a RC10T. So some good things come out of racing vintage cars all the time, if people find vintage stuff you're the first to know about it!

You can make a T4 body fit with just a little bit of grinding work rpm mounts and a couple of new holes in rear tower

Yeah but that would look wrong, even the T2 body is too rounded

Ya i agree with the look cuz the stock body is the best looking

. we all know how much harder they are to come by

. being runners cool to have alternative ideas

Yeah, the T3 is probably the best with the closer to original appearance and easy to get.

Here is my first RC10T runner in the making. I'm going to be putting sand paddle tires on it and using it on the beach a lot, probably get a waterproof traxxas servo and receiver box and possible a mamba max 5700 combo powered by maxamps lipo. It's a graphite chassis that will have a custom top deck for support. It's cut down in the front to allow for the 10T front. And I found a use for my A&L front shock tower that I have to order rear shock for, because the front one are too short. I might add T4 axles down the road too. This one needs it's own thread possibly.

Got sick of busting idler gears in the standard gearbox with the crazy brushless motors i'm running so I made a T4 gearbox fit. Machined a delrin bulkhead and bit which attaches to the gearbox then to the 6 gear holes in the chassis. Then made a carbon fibre rear tower without the big hole so that the T4 trans brace/body mounts would have somewhere to attach. I'll probably bend up a 1 piece motor plate/chassis brace. Made the bits for a buggy project but figured this one needed it more. Also made some delrin rear arm mounts with rounded corners where they usually tear. Broke one today in a traction rollover, but instead of snapping through to a screw hole it ripped apart right down the hinge pin hole.
Had to put an RPM front bar on to stop it losing the front e-clips every race..

Too cool upgrade mr. bugle!
It's hard to see the new parts though; did you make pictures before you mounted them?
I don't know hiow I missed this thread; 2 thumbs up for all the race action pics!
