Yeah, but I don't know how much stress i want to inflict on the bellcrank arm raising the ball stud high up off of it. It may be fine, but i don't want to break it.

My bent tie rod is fine. It's not the first time I've done that.

Yeah, other than the aesthetics, and assuming no flex, and that you don't want to adjust it on the fly, it works just fine like this. I love those franken-racers :!:

I wonder if the bent nose is any indication

On a side note I think the re-re tubes are crap, much softer then the originals in my opinion

I was hammer down coming off the table top jump, which goes directly into a 90* right hander. Landed a little funny, rear tires hit the ground first, and it shot me right into the outside wall. The cinder block wall of the building, not a plastic pipe. It was loud.

Took the front end off. Thankfully, it doesn't look like the hit transferred into the tub. So I'll get the mods done to the black nose plate that was on it before, add some new nose tubes, and I should be back in business.

I also realized last night that, like a rookie  , I never switched the model memory on my radio from my red tub dirt car to the B1.5. I didn't try the car before I got there, figured I would set it up while I was waiting for batteries to charge. The steering servo was reversed when i flipped on the radio, which I thought was odd, but not odd enough to say..... hey dumbass, switch the model. So instead, I just reversed it and set the trim. But then I noticed that the throttle felt kinda soft, and there was a bit more play in the trigger before the car took off. Overall, it just felt kinda soft and under powered. That still wasn't enough for the light bulb to go off.

Oh well. It should be faster next time. Hit walls even harder..... all that good stuff.

That hit was soooo loud. I was the only one upstairs (besides the wife), and that place echos big time. We looked at each other like this...

Blame the bad landing on the wrong radio setup, I guess
