Re: Wife needs a new car
1999... could be vintage!
Even The Thing had cracks all over him & he was tough as nails!
It's all in the wording of the ad.
Almost forgot... congrats on the new car. Our newest vehicle is over 2 years now and it's lost that new car smell.

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

I can't believe how well you're taking this! Hahaha my truck that I just dumped a ton of money into has huge cracks in its frame! It's a good thing you have a sense of humor.
A friend's uncle had a Ford Ranger's frame rust away in 12 years. There are holes in the rails.

Re: Wife needs a new car
Should be posting pic's of my wife's new car, but this is what I picked up today. 2014 jeep Rubicon. The quality has not changed from my last......over 25 years ago, but I'll be dammed if I'll ever buy an import!

Jeep is owned by Fiat now. A lot of Toyotas, Hondas are made in North America, VW has a big plant is Mexico.marlo wrote: As long as it was made in the north American area, it's all good. This was the only one in Ontario optioned out the way I wanted, built in south Toledo, Ohio.

Re: Wife needs a new car
We had 2012 or 2011 SE we leased, there was an issue w/ the auto trans, you could hear a slight rattle that was apparently from a loose synchro in the auto trans, dealer said Ford was aware of it and, working on a fix. Just something to be aware of, your 13' could have already gotten the updated or reworked version. I loved the Focus, handled great, nice interior quality, we turned it in at the end of the lease because of the trans issue. We have a C-Max now, very nice. Same platform as the Focus I believe.marlo wrote:She bought it, a NIB 2013 Ford Focus SE hatch. We pick it up next week. Very happy for her ..........and its assembled in Michigan

Automatics don't use synchros.

Re: Wife needs a new car
Yes your correct, the issue with the auto was one of the clutches, would rattle at a certain rpm in a certain a gear.biff85ta wrote:njdriver04 wrote:
