Wow Johnny, you got some nice Dss on the go. I think my next vintage project will be a DS. Do you know if there are any Toyota bodies that fit the DS? I would love to build a vintage Toyota DS

Vin,I haven't personally tried any of the Toyota body's but getting bodys on the DS's are a real "B" sometimes, even with the hex conversion and different width 12mm hexes...Johnny

Do you know if this body will fit? I have no idea what the wheel base is on the DS

It states "This body will fit both the Sprint 2 [190mm] or Nitro 3 [200mm] HPI Racing chassis and is perfect for most other electric touring cars". I don't know the wheel base on the HPIs either.

Johnny,
I'm interested in the SC10 front axles you used. Did you only use the axles and steering blocks, or did you have to use the uprights, as well? Also, what adapters did you use on the rear end? Thanks in advance.

Hi there Johnny I see your the DS man with all the info, If im bugging you too much im sorry im just trying to figure some things out. I recently was given a nice clean older gold pan RC10CE from a friend and I wanted to convert it to a DS because I run onroad more and always wanted a DS. Ive read up a little and pretty much know what to change as far as arms, towers, shocks, and bumpers I need to buy it all yet but what parts did you use on this front to use hexes? I have heard of the traxxas conversion but Ive never seen anything with an sc10. which one do you think is a better setup? thanks for your help.

The SC10 is 10 times better...and only had to drill out the bottom to 1/8"...JohnnySr
