Sounds like some upgrades are in order. The part numbers for some better parts, or atleast aluminum options are in the instructions, or a pamphlet insert in the kit?iVTEC4LIFE wrote:Overall, I'm impressed with the kit. Build was very easy. Though I'm very disappointed that the rear motor cover is NOT aluminum! It just bugs me. So it looks like I'm adding another piece to my order.

Re: Great buy at the AE store....
My wife got one of the last ones from tower
. DUring the build I only had two problems. The steering rack bolt threads needed to be filed down to clear the bearing, and I got 1 B4 and 1 T4 rear turn buckle. Going to the shop today to get some green slime and a turn buckle.

Re: Great buy at the AE store....
Mine showed up today. Got to throw a kudos out to Lorna Paul at the AE order desk. I had mine ordered the day this posted but I had used a credit card that I hadn't used in a long time. Found out that if you keep a credit card for emergency use only and not use it for over a year some companys will close it
. She emailed me the day before they closed for inventory for the year and needed another form of payment. I called her next day as they opened and took care of it 3-4 hours before closing at lunch time. She ran the new card and physically took the kits to the shipping dept and got a confirmation all while I was on the phone with her. She told me her bosses told her not to mess with it and just sell them to the next in line but she kept her Christmas spirit and went thru the hassle of doing all this for someone she didn't know. Long story short is there are still people out there that believe in customer service.

Great story!! Nice to know they don't have a 3rd party taking care of their customer service department.

Re: Great buy at the AE store....
My Rc10B4 FT kit was missing 1 of the 2.00" turnbuckles. So I went to my local hobby shop yesterday to pickup a set of 2.00" turnbuckles. I told them what happened and they said I should contact Associated.
Well I sent them an e-mail last night, and today they asked where they should send the part.

Re: Great buy at the AE store....
Mine arrived yesterday, a nice surprise for me when I got home.
Quick shipping to my place from Cali, rather pleased. I have yet to dig into it, should be a fun one!
Thanks goes to iVTEC4LIFE for letting us know it was on sale.
