Thanks guys!
Had this sweet 12LW done a while back but forgot to post up some pics. So enjoy!
This is how it started. I got this from a great member here but a few things were wrong, so I made a few changes along the way!

Rod, were you looking for orange Race Prep wire at one point?

Yea! If it matches the box art 12l???? Got any leads?
The guy with the red Reedy never got to a deal with me!

Show me a pic of the wire you need and I'll tell you if what I have matches

Looks like the letter are too close like the one scr8p has! Not sure though? Is that the only piece you have?

I studied my 12L manual last night and you may not need a modified motor. The manual shows a silver can motor in the fiberglass car, cannot see the label.
I needed the green dot Reedy for my 10L so I put a silver stock motor in its place! I think this motor is a little later, I will find an early one (Edinger) some day!

Seems every time I get a bit of the flu I dig out the 1/12 scales to do a bit of work on. Must be comforting in some way!
Put a nice Porsche 917-10K body on my modded 12L
Then I rebuilt this mint RC12L3 and put correct electronics in. These Sanyo 3000 cells are some of the coolest looking IMO!
I could not pass on a local deal! An RC12R5 and a RC12R5.1 with servos and lipo battery for $100. The cars were mint, no scratches, and only needed a good cleaning. So put new wheels and bodies and some SMC cells in, as well as some Reedy brushless Neo1 motors. I will find cheap outdated ESC's to put in some day!
Found a new way to keep all my RC12's on one shelf!

Been a long time since I worked on my 12's. Since the house fire, the 12's had been in storage with smoke, soot and rust damage, but now I have most of them restored. My RC12L glass car just got a nice set of Good Year decals for the tires and a correct Novak servo and RX. All working perfect.
