I have acquired this original JRX-Pro (custom painted) shell from a member here- guess I need to find a wing and......what type of wing "buttons" did these cars use?

I have some electronics in route, some vintage decals that should help set it off too-

And since I have asked most people that contributed to this build if it was cool to say thanks And not really gotten a response- when it's finished I am going to do a mass shout out anyway

I give you props on that beautifully painted body! Simple, sharp, nice colors that work well together, not garish & gaudy with tribals or flames or goo-drops or other tacky schemes like most modern cars these days...Losi doesn't do anything for me but that body does!

Thanks, my good taste and great eye for spacial relations and color contrast and the B/S/T helped me come up with the money to buy this already painted turn key shell  It will go really
well with the white parts on the buggy 8)

Tekin receiver and ESC older and red  Prob an Airtronics servo, and I have to decide between my Checkpoint and the Ayk ceramic shaft motor- and then decide to use yellow cells or the red's

This is one seriously hot build.... & that shell is going to contrast so well with the white 'accents' on the car. Very nice... & (as you declare in the title) its different too 8)

Just a small taste of this car for now, still waiting on some really trick parts to add-

Just got a new wing kit here thanks to RC10Resto- I have a few more odds and ends to come in for this car and the shell that I have is a Proformance shell, so I have to decide to either change the configuration of the rear tower and shocks ( which is not period correct for this chassis ) or find another shell and keep the shell for another build with a different NIP JRX-Pro chassis I have that would be correct for that body-

I "hear" that the lowly Losi forum has been dead.

So this week we had a big winter storm that shut down everything from Tues 12:00 to today. Today after painting a model with my son the laquer thinner fumes gave me a migraine headache that lasted from 11:00 until 18:05 :? I slept most of the day in-between throwing up from it. (awesome  ) So now that I can't sleep...I decided to work on this some more to "help" the Losi forum-

So there, maybe that will help.

Next update will be a different Mod motor (that S&K is just a place holder) and a painted shell-
