Any suggestions on a motor for this build?
Ouch, luckily you went another way with the moter 'cause 11 to 14turns brushed is way different from 10.5t. brushless. And no, an 11t double is not the same as a 22 single by far.

A Lemans Gold would have ook very well at home, and I think is rather close to a 10.5t brushless too. A magnum AYK would have looked fine aswell

I didn't think it was the same

Rod has a Trinity D3 for me, which will look great as well. I don't remember what he said what turn it was though. I will see how it performs, maybe I will change it out later. Thanks for the info Mr.Ed

If worse comes to worse, you just take whatever moterhouse you like best for looks, and put in the roter that suits your needs

I think Eau Rouge can paint that to a tee :P

And you are absolutely right about the motor situation :D

that build looks sick - I love the gold on black. regarding the 11T double - it's more like a 11T single than anything else. It depends on the wire gauge but doubles tend to have smoother power transmission than singles but might be a bit less hot. either way, that 11T double will be WAAAAAY hotter than anything from back in the day.

just wanted to say thanks for the positive comments so far!

This project seems pretty straight forward, but I will work on a parts list and post it if anyone wants to see.

Atlas is a member here. It's as easy as looking him up and PM him.

he might just want to be in the Business Section on here
