You can get the really fine stuff in the automotive paint section of Walmart or any auto parts store; 1000-1500 grit. I've read that if you sand them too much you can reduce the diameter and lead to leaks, but I don't know if that's true.

Try some mag wheel polish to get them really smooth. It's not abrasive enough to actually 'cut', like 'rubbing compound', but it will put a good finish on something that's already pretty smooth.

Yea, I have some very fine sandpapers from an auto paint store, but it takes forever to get the scratches out. Done the Mothers and this works but the cotton cloth is near as good and no mess! I have been doing this forever and never had to worry about diameter. It's such a minute amount it really has no effect.

You think I should do all the wires in orange? I could, but the orange on the wire is off colour and it just looks poor. I tried Novak and GS wire!

The manual shows mounting the steering servo on the RH side. Why did you choose to mount it on the left?

That would look good against the orange chassis. Dye the Deans connector black and the 'foam things' orange.
