not as far as yours.

glad to see you're gonna install some black suspension on the rear. i wasn't sure how much of it was supposed to be done exactly, so i just did it all on mine.

like you, i'm unsure about the electronics for this car. but i'm not too worried about it being "correct". i'm just gonna throw in what feel would "fit". the early (prototype) car that roger is holding the "the winning edge" video i believe is from around the same time frame. so i'm using that, as well as the boxart (pre boxart) as a sort of guide.

Hey Brian,
I think you are going down the wrong road with Carrera - try Rodenstock. With that said I am not sure the glasses art line up with the Turbo script, are those two different stickers?

I tried to search for DTM cars - BMW 320i, Ford Capri and Toyoto Celica Turbos

Good luck

Thanks B! That's huge. Turns out there's a 320 BMW from 1979 that has the glasses in black, along with the BBS, and some of my fine print (Bosch, Dunlop etc) from the top of the wing..

If I brush up on my German or get the Google Translator to work, I can get a 1/32 (slotcar sized) sheet for 6 Euro plus some shipping....

That may be the ticket. It may be too small, but at least it will give me something to repro off of. Wish me luck. Thanks again! :D :D

I have a recommendation for anyone trying to make their own decals. onlinelabels.com sells some neat stuff. Item no. OL177CK (Clear Gloss Inkjet sheets) for example- http://www.onlinelabels.com/Products/OL177CK.htm?search=OL177CK&st=s An 11 sheet pack is a reasonable deal. It really is workable stuff you can use right at home.

I just worked up some decals on the 'puter and printed them out. Note I did take some scrap clear decal and sandwich another clear layer over the top before I cut them out, as I doubt the inkjet ink would resist rubbing or moisture when it came down to it. And I had to get inventive with some layering to get my white into the TURBO, but I came out passable I think. C. Husting will be proud.

I just had a handful of decals to work up on my own.

(scr8p I have the better resolution ai file that I can get you in any format in the case you are ever interested in having them run out. If you like mine, I obviously can get you a duplicate too. Time to tackle that driver. Thanks again  )
