Try RCBearings.com
I get most of my RC Helicopter replacement bearings from them.

yes.... you are mistaken.

you need (5) 3/16 x 5/16 flanged bearing. 1 for each idler, 1 for each gear drive hub, and 1 for the left side of the topshaft in the bearing adapter. you need (2) 3/16 x 5/16 plain bearings...... 1 in each of the gear drive hubs. and you need (1) 1/4 x 3/8 flanged bearing for the right (diff side) bearing adapter.

if you want to replace the dust shields with bearings, you need (2) 3/8 x 5/8 plain bearings.

could you please stop questioning the bearing sizes and amounts now?

yes, i am sorry. I was mistaken.

I am just that kinda guy that checks, double checks and triple checks all I do so I don't have to do it again.

No more bearing questions bar one...

What is best... ceramic, rubber or metal? I would think metal, but I am supposing it would depend upon the application of the bearing... all they all BB?

seller RCBOYZ on ebay has all the bearings at a good price too.

But has many options like ...

metal sheilded, rubber sealed, teflon sealed and poly amide sealed.

what do I do?

EDIT: here are links to what I will probably order (if they will combine shipping)

I ordered the last of the parts yesterday. Anxiously waiting for them to ship.

The one ebay seller is really dragging his feet getting my order out the door. He said it would ship in 48hrs and it has been 4 business days (6 days total) since I ordered and he still hasn't shipped it yet.

Could he be ordering them from some where else AFTER you ordered them from Him ??
Or it could be the Easter holiday messing things up ??

I hate having to wait for parts

not sure, but i contacted him today and he finally gave me a shipping confirmation #

I agree, I don't enjoy the wait. Although I do enjoy the anticipation once I know it is on it's way.

Got two packages today. Two down, 1 to go.

I received my idler gears and a lexan gear cover

now all i need are my bearings which i was told are on their way already.

by this time next week I should have the tranny completed.

Once it is back together (and hopefully spinning freely) I need to pick out a motor since my 10T is not really the right motor.

I guess I will post my tire measurement too in hopes you all can help me pick out the right setup.

ok, called my LHS and it just so happens he has a pack in a box of old vintage stuff sitting on the side.

When I asked how much he said $11.50... my jaw dropped and I asked, is there two? He laughed and said it should be worth that much but he was joking. It is only $1.50

picking it up tonight to finish it off!
