I love the new rear body mount!

Still debating on adding a vinyl sunroof to be a little different...(work in progress) and weatherstipping still needs paint..

Looking good! I love the license plate and the tail ights turned out really nice. Not sure I dig the top though...

I'm kind of unsure of top myself. (It's only a quick mock up.) It need's a little more work.

I was just toying with some fresh ideas.

The vinyl was left over from the dune buggy project.

Dude in a (parts) tree...

New parts order arrived at the local hobby shop today...got the sunroof, wipers,..and driver.

I'll re-purpose the exhaust, license plate frames, nose, & tail lamps for another project...

I love the cheesy ping pong ball 70's style helmet...I'll finish a couple more details once it's glued together.

The color looks pretty close to the one I had as a kid. Testors stop light red looks perfect for a scale 70's style metalflake.

..but I wimped out on the rag-top. I couldn't quite get the vinyl to conform to the curvature of the roof as well as I had wanted.

I needed to order a new parts tree for a set of wiper blades, and decided it would be much easier to just use the sunroof that came with it..

The project has been stalled for awhile...I'm still waiting on new chrome parts from the hobby shop.

I've seen a ton of really nice ones out there.

I was just fortunate enough build one that was a little different than most...I guess technically, it's more of a Bugfoot than Monster Beetle.

Beautiful scale work there, Diggley. I'm not into scalers but if I was, I'd probably do it like you have.
