Iso,
Which car are you doing this to? i made the associated slipper system fit on my Zx until kyosho released the hyper clutch which in my opinion worked better. But i do like the idea of the double pad to handle the brushless motors, and i think we have found another designer for the Lazer.
The zx slipper system worked with the zxr spur which was 48dp and thats what wont burn out when using brushless. Im still developing it for the zxs and will update you with how to do the switchover when im happy with it.

Re: Kyosho Lazer ZX -- 2010 VONATs Entry....
I agree, great thread.
RW racing are now making my design Lazer ZX/ZXR spur gears in 48dp. 100t but with an added extra. This has the not only the standard 12 holes for the third diff, which also fits the hyper clutch but I added the B4/B44 hex sections so now the slipper can handle the power. If using a ZX slipper clutch just make sure the B4/B44 pads are on the spur, and use the metal washers but no balls and its sweet. With the Mk1 slipper just fit as normal. Works great. Picture below is with the standard ZX slipper third diff system and the car undressed is with the SC10 extra torque slipper pads on with Mk1 slipper plate. For the ZX slipper just take the balls out and add the slipper pads and as per the picture the plates and game on.
Kamtec now do the Parma Tomcat shell (pictured below) so as long as you get the ZXR undertray its a perfect fit and looks superb.
Fibrelyte do a lipo tray for my chassis design (picture below) and have asked them to do a redesign on it so you can buy so lipos can be used. As you can see from the pictures, you can add 170g under the cells (85g on each side) and add some brass plates made by Rude blitz for the tamiya trf511 as this aides the handling much more, Ive added 220g in total and its going like stink but needs a little more tweaking to get it spot on. I am running this in January at the Petit in Silverstone and im aiming high.
Hope the pictures do it justice and hope it helps.
P.S. Iso, stop drooling
