Alright! So far we have, totaling all sources together, well over 225 serious interested parties and some would like multiples of the product. This is great to say the least on our end. Being that it's the weekend I'm sure I will not hear anything else from Eustace/MIP until Monday at some point.

I promise to keep you all very much in the information loop and hope to provide it in a relatively real-time manner. I really appreciate everyone's help so far and look forward to what next week will bring us!

How did you get to 225 interested parties and we are only on page 5 of the thread?
where are all these other interested folks, IT seems that someone serious about buying one of these would fit in well at 10talk.

aconsola - They will fit in at rc10talk very well once they actually come here :D, I have told many people about this site even before this. The total number is very high due to the fact that I have been talking with many other people outside of here that I have known for quite sometime and many of them are collectors of vintage RC's. This was done to for two main reasons, to provide people with a chance to get something that they have wanted for a long time and to better our chances at maybe getting this to come to fruition. I will approach someone outside of this site only if I feel comfortable enough with them to do so.

Update - Still waiting on a reply. I have to go take care of a few jobs on my end so the next update will not come until early evening EST.

Update - I received some more info from Eustace at MIP. Just as I thought, they do not have the original molds anymore. The kits would be a total re-design since they would have to start from scratch basically. The cost however is still kind of up in the air, if you will, with Eustace stating that with current demand will make the kits cost somewhere around $500. I know that's double of what the original kits cost but with more demand the price will come down. I'm trying to work with Eustace on making this more affordable by getting the word out as much as possible. Although I'm getting the word out as much as possible I'm doing so in a cautious way as to try and not get the wrong people involved.

After today's conversation I feel that it will happen but the cost is what concerns me the most. I will do whatever I can to make it affordable for all of us but that will take a little more time. The next bit of info I'm waiting on is a round-a-bout date of when production could start, so we shall see.
