Hey Erich,

No one is going behind your back and stealing your Idea, I know Mark and John, and they are stand up guys, they wouldn't do that, but you and RCHR set the date for the race, and so far, the race is going to be held there on the set date.

Imagine if you will, if the date for the race came around, and you haven't contacted Mark/John regarding the race. All the racers start showing up from different parts of the country thinking that the VONATs are going to be held at RCHR on Sept. 18-20th just to find out that it's been canceled. I live 25 minutes away, but there's people flying/driving to CT, they're not gonna be turned away cause you decided to disappear on the whole thing.

That's why I posted, there's going to be a race on Sept. 18-20th whether you're there or not.

No i know. I don't think they are doing anything behind my back. I've known John and Mark a LONNNNNNG time. Thanks for supporting the race. I would never not show up. Honestly I love this race more than anything. They know from last year that we didn't talk until a couple months before because there was nothing to talk about. Like I said they both can get ahold of me if they have any questions or doubts or anything. My race is my baby and perhaps got a little up tight thinking about that someone would take it away from me or whatever. :)

I've been checking in from time to time reading...nothing for me to comment on though.

RCHR has no affiliations (or knowledge, nor is it our business knowing) with Erich's private dealings, and it would not be appropriate for us to comment on such. If anybody has questions about RCHR or the race program, I will answer them (unless Freddy beats me to it :D ). Unless Erich announces otherwise, the race program will be held per the official anouncement.

Last year was a great race and we hope to see all of last years racers and some more new ones this year!

I am not stepping on anyone's toes, but I am still planning on doing the same thing I did last year for this forum.

Mark, didn't you say that you had wireless installed?
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Just made my reservation at the Holiday inn express. I will be driving over early on saturday and staying just the one night like l did last year.
Decent rate$84.
Now to get the cars ready. I'm going brushless/lipo to simplify things, got some more shopping to do :D

Hey Jay "Mr. Lexan",

The wireless is up and running, I was racing Friday and my wife used the WiFi to connect through her Iphone...

They also have a computer outside the shop, set up with internet for those needing to research set ups and stuff, or to post on the RC10Talk forums while the racing is going on.... 8)

Also, this time around, we have a bigger group of RCHR "regulars" willing to lend a helping hand, whether it be set ups, sweeping the track, ordering pizzas... , I have valuable info, as to where McDonalds is....

Mark,

Can you give us an update on what the current tires of choice are for the track?

a couple pics of the track would be nice too, if the layout has changed.

For Tires:
Rears -- JC Green Double Dees, Proline M3 Holeshots, JC Goosebumps
Front -- 2wd --JC Groovys, Losi Pink Tapers. Truck --Proline M3 Edge, the New JC Truck Front tires

4wd -- Double Dees, Pink Tapers Fronts, Holeshots. I'm currently using Inside Jobs on my ZX5.

These are generally the tires that people use. No special additives, we just wash them with simple green and water before each heat.

Track Layout:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDvk_B5p8F8&feature=channel_page
This is the current layout at the track, I don't know if it's going to be change for the VONATs, I haven't asked Mark/John, I won't be surprised if they change it...
