Sorry for your loss. For some reason the first couple of notes of that song brought a song to mind that I probably hadn't listened to in about 4 or 5 years. I'm posting this version because I find the actual video very distracting. Distracting from what I don't know, but distracting nonetheless.

People who appreciate Floyd can probably appreciate one of the few bands who picked up where they left off--a band almost nobody knows because they've never been popular on 4-minute-song-format radio but have been around since the late 70's and are still playing today. Something about being unemployed for almost 3 years, finding out that my 3.5 GPA isn't good enough to get in any program that interests me. Finding out that even if I do get a program I'm being audited by financial aid, so I probably won't get my classes paid for. Noticing that my wife and I have enough savings to last to the end of the year before we can't pay the mortgage. 1700 resumes sent out all with follow up's and 4 call backs for interviews. and all I can listen too....

Somehow, after a half a bottle of Glen Morangie and all this crap I tend to enjoy this song...at about 140 decibles

Hang in there. Life's always tryin' to kick your ass. You gotta look it in the eye and say "Screw you, I choose to be happy!". Things will turn around when you least expect it. Keep pluggin' away.

This is a band I think you either love or hate. I love them. They make a lot of music that appeals to me. Always high end recording quality too, which is very important to me.
