You can change the crystal within the module. These would not be narrow band

It took a bit of digging on the device but there was a very tight fitting sticker over that area that made it look solid.GoMachV wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 6:21 pm You can change the crystal within the module. These would not be narrow band

I just went checking though the box and it broke off in shipping. Looks like it was repaired in the past. It was only a few $$ more than the junior I was going to buy so I can live with it as long as it works.

Whoa. Still can't believe I found a pair of these. Panic bidded myself up and was the only bidder. Must be a lull in TCP parts hunting...
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Sweet! I don't have a set of those yet either.
I found a weird set of the stock TRX3 front arms a while back, must have been an early run or something.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Double

At least I have seen the 2621 arms before. Those 2631's are total insanity! The TCP box panel of included "hop-ups" shows the black (2621?) arms as "skeletonized"....but white short arms with that treatment in a factory sealed bag?

Hope you're doin' something fun.

Not in the post but was given this today by friend of mine that’s been telling me for a couple years he’s got an old nitro powered rc he stopped using after he had it for a couple months…. Looks like he used it every day for a couple months
Haven’t used a nitro car in years, looks like a good candidate to have some stinky noisy fun with on my block

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

Probably ran it until the maintenance schedule caught up with it.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 6:58 pm Not in the post but was given this today by friend of mine that’s been telling me for a couple years he’s got an old nitro powered rc he stopped using after he had it for a couple months…. Got a bit of a PB haul today , hopefully enough to fit a genuine transmission in my 3D printed mini Mustang, also Half of a one way shaft for my proper Mustang that I've been looking for for years
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I missed one damaged on ebay by 0.01 EUR at the last second of an auction few months back, and I stopped bother searching for one since then. Anyway, I had a model, so I should be able to print one at some point...
And on Sunday, someone seeing my chassis alone in a picture without a bodyshell gently proposed me one... It arrived today, and it is in a very very good state...

I guess there will be more 44B/Zerda pictures soon in the relevant thread

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I bought a pair of RC4WD Giant Puller wheels off eBay through Horizon a couple of weeks ago. Come to find out they didn't actually have any in stock but were selling them anyway. Apparently it's common for them to have listings for items they don't actually have.
I was aggravated enough to let eBay know who then shut down the listing. They came back in stock last week but only had 3 pairs, and I bought one over the weekend. I knew Horizon legitimately had them this time as verified through RC4WD's site. I was given a bum USPS tracking number, and thought here we go again. If they didn't show up by the estimated delivery date of tomorrow, I was going to contact them to see what the deal was. Well they showed up today out of the blue via FedEx. I excitedly opened them up only to find that one of the wheels is scratched up.
It's something that in my mind if there was any legitimate quality control, it would be considered a factory second. Luckily I plan to polish them but will also have to now sand the one to try and get the scratches out which is something I shouldn't have to do. Hopefully they're not too deep. I can contact Horizon to let them know but I feel like it's a lost cause as they're now out of stock again. I had to buy them off eBay as I needed to use a gift card to do so. There were only two sellers selling them, Horizon and Omni Models, and Omni Models is just a middle man for Horizon.
I rarely buy RC4WD products as I'm not part of the demographic they cater to but the few times I have, I haven't been entirely pleased with what I've received. Take these Giant Puller wheels for example, even if you omit the scratches, one is slightly different from the other cosmetically.
Buying things these days can be a real discouraging experience.
I feel slightly better now.

Ok... so it's not just me!

To keep this relevant, I didn't get anything in the post today... I think my mailman is playing hard-to-get.
