Found an old style heat sink in my stash from, Christ, maybe 25 years ago? It fits like it was made for the Scorpion- It's from the same era, maybe.....? The little Kyosho badge was something I did a few years ago. Glad I throw nothing away1 Chris REC

Yes, in a package with my new Crystal Motor and Invisibody!

ACtually, I've read all the probs fitting the shafts, so I just threw them away. Life is only as complicated as you make it.

Well Raman... I had my re-re Scorpion sent to me a few weeks ago and I have a thread in mind. I like to study the kit first say anything, but I don't had the time yet, to busy preparing for the vintage race held this weekend in Norway.

Bein's y'all seem to like bad pics, here are a couple things drifting through my transom at present. I found that my Baja wheels I did for the Scorcher could be made to fit with only a couple very minor changes- They'd be cheaper too, since I wouldn't hafta make the !@#$&*(! axles, like on the Scorcher, if anyone thinks these would be a good thing (?) I also think the wing is in the totally wrong place for my sense of aesthetics- It could be relocated, and also open up room foir a spare mount simultaneously. (No body because it does not fit without scratching as the towers are too close, fixing that REAL soon.) Just playin', thoughts? Chris REC

Wow that looks really cool with those wheels and tires!

Thanks! The guy who took the lousy pics should be shot (

) but they're cool enough I'm considering the feasibility of a limited run of these modded just for the Scorpion. The rears are the same diameter, so no gearing issues, and the fronts-Being the same as the rears- give the front just a bit more clearance & the frame rails are dead level. A possibility. It's almost as big a change in overall look as they were for the Scorcher. Chris REC

Mine came with the scuffed tires too, waiting on some parts before building, made my 1st order with Banzai, will see how long ems shipping takes.

If you are going to drive it, they maybe look like this after some bashing:

mine came the same way, with one tire looking like it had been placed in the blister before the lettering was dry and some stuck to the inside of the blister.
Now that I'm looking at my kit, and all the old school parts I have, I'm thinking I might just order a complete gearbox, and a couple of other little parts (carbon fibre anyone?) and build an old/new racer from parts and keep my NIB kit build for a rainy day.
