I hope it will not die! A well prepped Stealth tranny Team or Worlds car will sill keep up with the modern buggies at the club level. So I hope to see this rere Worlds keep going for many years to come. I have great enjoyment running an older car against modern cars, it is even better when you win! I have a few original runners but I still ordered two! One for the shelf and one to run. I may even get another later as these things get clapped out over time, and it's cheaper to buy a new car than replace all the parts! I think I will convert mine back to original shock bodies and white spring clamps though. I just like the original look of that!

I also hope AE makes wide arms and 25 degree caster blocks in WHITE! You can do this Tim and the Team!

vintage is pretty hot here in ct, thanks to the yearly vonats.
lots of locals now own and run vintage 2wd, stadium truck and 4wd.
one local track has added a vintage class to most trophy races. usually manage to fill two heats, one of 2wd and one stadium truck.
still working on getting more folks into vintage 4wd.

we had a vintage series in the fall, following the vonats and another track had a vintage race the night of the vonats (i think i was the only guy to race both the vonats and the vintage night race 50 miles away, but it was a super fun weekend.

This article could be re-titled "Making GT Axles Work"....

That is of course, if you took statics in school like I did and don't mind thinking in terms of force vectors... 8) Sorry, the nerd in me is really hard to keep down sometimes.

i wouldnt mind i guess if something on the new white arms was plainly obvious it was a re-re… but the graphite chassis' i think should be kept rare and original. (im slowly but surely headed to the same mindset as scott i think…)

its not as much the value of the collection i have an issue with, its keeping some things rare and special.

if we could all just go out and clone our own scarlet johannson, we'd all be tired of her in a few months… know what i mean?

They're new .71" shock bodies.
There are no .71 shock bodies listed, threaded or standard....Tim, can you comment?

The non threaded .71" front shocks is 6433, and it appears that they are currently out of stock.

The new shock body numbers have not been announced yet, but rest assure the .71" V2 shocks will be available. The front tower is almost exactly the same as the original except for an additional camber link option hole, that I found to work better on todays indoor clay tracks.

That's why I said they were new .71" shock bodies. ;)

Tim made the original confirmation back on page 21 or so, when I asked myself.

Well it was a good thing I canceled my Mirage SS pre-order. I can get 2 Turbo's for an extra $10 bucks now.
Also new page for the Worlds kit is up on AE's site.

I'm curious to see if the rear shock shaft spacer issue so many have complained about has been addressed on the New Worlds.

I agree, and can go further, but I won't  I'm sure you mean graphite "Team" chassis :P
its been long enough i could be getting them mixed up, but im talking about the graphite/carbon/whatever chassis that was available when the worlds kit came out.

i also dont think the rc10 graphite should be re-re'd, or widetrack white arms…

im happy as heck we're fortunate enough to get a goldtub 6gear and a worlds. i say let everything that happened in-between rest and keep some things vintage and collectable.

edit - worlds on the left, graphite on the right.
(crazy now when i type in rc10, a TON of rc10talk images come up!)
Image
I require the one on the left, hard to find, but I hope it never get's a re-re......

Worlds had 1.02 shafts instead of spacers and 1.32 bodies so hopefully they did the same on the ReRe!
