Reminds me of a conversation a friend and I had a few days ago. He was asking if I had listened to "Rize Of The Fenix" Tenacious D's newest CD on their website. It leaked on some Russian site or something so the record company went ahead and posted the whole thing. My answer was "No, I'm waiting to buy the CD on May 15th, and quite frankly I'm getting a bit tired of the internet making everything so easy." I really feel that way... well except maybe for porn.

BTW I'm listening to that bass track on Bose earbuds and it's just real nice... just real nice.

Meh, I know there are only about 10 of us that click on this thread anymore, but it's still my favorite. R/C'rs and their music. I know that Metallica has kinda jumped the shark in a lot of people's opinion, but I was at the midnight release of this album. This video pretty much defines how great this record really is.

Love that tune! It's been getting heavy rotation on my favorite station for the last few months.

I'm a huge lyrics guy and I literally have spent quite a bit of time pondering whether "feel like an ocean being warmed by the sun" is a positive or negative thought.

It could mean that it's a futile effort as the ocean maintains an almost constant temperature due to it's vastness. (No global warming discussions please )

Or... it could mean that it's the most wonderful thing on Earth. Imagine being a long stretch of uncharted ocean being warmed by the sun.

A bit philosophical I know for a "Simple Song", but that's what Sundays are for I suppose.

Hey Thumbs, I thought that was a 'simple song'? Great lyrics for sure and that Jack White tune has been heavy on the station I listen to locally.
Had a brain fart today and somehow remembered a soundtrack that I still have on casette from the 80's. Looked up the movie on youtube and watched the entire movie. Still one of my favorite soundtracks.
