A new bodyshell, more vintage like for the M05 (that I'll shorten specially for this)
And a very oldschool NIB
SG Gemini SLX 1/12, directly incoming from 1981, with a Lola T600 bodyshell
The chassis itself is Lexan which was very efficient on low grip indoor venues... The chassis was designed by Phil Greeno and bought by SG racing cars (Bologne, Italy) and was put into the market in 1981, with various bodyshell... I would have like to have the Shkee DB1 bodyshell with it, but the Lola T600 is fine... A single color will make it a very nice shell... It seems as well that the stickers sheet is not assorted, although a SG one... Maybe the planed initially to sell those cars with a 934 body (all the NIB pictures I found of this car had the same stickers, independantly of the shell)...
Anycase, as you see, there is no blisters, so this car will be built and likely run at some point during onroad vintage events...

Got a Monster Locker for the rear end of the 1/5 Monster truck. Tired of breaking gears in that truck so this should remedy that situation. Gonna lose a bit of turning radius but I think it's a trade off I'm willing to make to get the rearend bulletproof in that big heavy truck.

Hello,
Hey,
So here we are vintage. I really like these frames.
Have you already planned an engine?

No clue yet... The fact is this car is dated from an era when I was not even thinking RC yet (my RC era as a teenager was 1984-1987)... Probably a dumb 540 silver can or something nicer... Not in my priorities of the moment in any case...

Just a few hard to find vintage Schumacher parts and hopefully more tomorrow

Ballraced steering levers, cougar 2 works rear bulkhead, super diff washers, mk1 slipper parts, an original medium front varimount pre cougar 2 release as shown on the cougar 2 box and a medium spring tuning set

Another one not in the post.... had to drive the 10 minutes required to pick this one up. Nothing of massively high quality, or of exceeding rareness, but for the price (AUS$36, about US$24), I couldn't say no!
Ready to run Tamiya DF-02 Rising Storm, in used but seemingly complete condition. Basic stuff, so should be an easy rebuild.
Will get a clean, a wing and some decals, and a set of bearings... and maybe some new boots. Oh, and will put oil in the shocks!

I always thought Schumacher went overboard on the shock mount for the the Mk2 (9 top mount holes?) because I didn't have a Mk 1 bitd. Now that I have the re-re with its crappy, flexy, breaky, one option and it is wrong shock tower, I understand

I feel like this gear drive should be the starting point for a home brew airboat or hovercraft. The Leisure Modified motor attached is nice though and might have to get swapped out for a runner instead.

The endbell markings on the AYK Magnum confuse me. The + and - markings are in the middle, not to the side by the terminals.

Where are the solder tabs on the Magnum? Have they been broken off and you're supposed to use a spade or ring terminal with those screws?

They are missing on one side but still there on the other.

Weird. I found some pics of that motor on the interwebs and they didn't use the screws, just the solder tabs.
