Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
A question for Traxxas experts.
Which cars use the TRX 3166 spur gear and the TRX 4622 slipper clutch drive rings?
If someone have those parts, do the drive rings work with the spur gear?
And if so is it for the inner or outer circle of holes?
The drive rings look similar to those for the RC10L and IRS drive rings for 1/10 scale Pro10 cars.
Is it same size?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
yes, those slipper parts are the same size as rc10 6 gear rings.
they were used on TRX1 and others with the rulon slipper pegs. probably blue eagle, trx3, rad2, ls, ls2, nitro hawk

SRT, early Bandit/Stampede/Rustler - the slipper pegs were also used in the nitro cars.

Thanks

Does the drive rings match the inner or outer circle of holes?
And what size is the diameter for the hole at the spur gear?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I think there is overlap on both set of holes.
I couldn't tell ya the hub id. I thought it was the same as any old pan car, but it might not be.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Traxxas spur gears are slightly smaller. I use them on RC10 six gear transmissions that have worn diff hubs, too take up the slack.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

These came on a set of RC10 TQ dish wheels. I'm not familiar with them. They are marked RP-925.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

The plug looks like 1980s Robbe/Futaba. IIRC, Robbe (like other European manufacturers) often renamed imported products sold under their own name.

Looks like Race Prep did a deal with Schumacher to rebrand tires.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 9:03 pm These came on a set of RC10 TQ dish wheels. I'm not familiar with them. They are marked RP-925.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Yeah, it's a Futaba G-Plug, and likely from before 1985, but I don't think it's a rebranded Futaba servo. The case doesn't match any of their old servos, and the spline matches what Sanwa used.EvolutionRevolution wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 4:23 am The plug looks like 1980s Robbe/Futaba. Try Graupner for the manufacturer's name. They did the import of Sanwa products, IIRC.Phin wrote: ↑Thu Sep 08, 2022 9:48 amYeah, it's a Futaba G-Plug, and likely from before 1985, but I don't think it's a rebranded Futaba servo.
