I guess not Keeping any of my Mod Motors from my racing back in the late 80's.

I had almost every Kyosho Le mans motor made at that time. Including the SPA Motors.
I went through a lot of motors. They would still be good now as i never knew what a com lathe was.

The other mistake is getting out of R/C from 90 to 2000.

Ten yrs of a blank to me. I never saw a Avanti go or egress and many others. I remember seeing them in Hobby shops buthad a quick glance than started to think what mags i can get for my real car.

I threw away a mint tamiya super shot when I moved from florida to michigan. That was before ebay and when I was not interested in the rc car hobby. Now that I see the prices for a super shot and am back into RC cars I totally regert it. I was into planes at the time and I still have my byron mig 15 NIB. Every time I see a super shot I kick myself in the butt for doing such a stupid move. Live and learn .

trading my original rc10 for an '86 haro sport, then later on trading that haro sport for a set of 6x9's and an e.q. booster...

i got enough rc10's, but man i'd love to have that old haro back.

Im kind of half kidding around but I say that because she's so anti-rc! Which is the opposite attitude from when we first met
On the bright side, our kids are finally taking interest in racing.....my youngest was rippin up the track pretty good today!
As for regrets in rc, out of all the cars I wish i had kept some of the schumachers. Hindsight is 20/20 eh.

After seeing all the prices on e bay for the stuff i thought was junk and got rid of... Not to mention having to pay the prices to buy back what i once had. I can officially say that I regret selling pretty much everything.

I gave away my Super champ at the track in about 1988. I was actually embarrassed by it when i saw all the RC10's and Schumachers tearing around. It was beautiful too. If I'd only known...

I sold 5 old Yokomo 834B/C and RPS SE chassis about 8 years ago before moving back to Savannah.
I had redone about 3 of them and had a box FULL of vintage parts in bags, wheels and tires.

I thought they would become more valuable over time (and I was right!) but I needed to sell them as
well as my 100% gold anodized (by Option House), belt drive Optima and mint condition Javelin (with box
and instructions).

I did okay on them but no where near what I could today. Plus I can't find an old Yoke now for less than a small fortune.

I am glad to have my original RC12E and am getting it back in running order.
