Got mine today. They are definitely repo.... the polycarbonate is a different grade than the originals. It does not feel like PETG or acrylic, but it does not feel like 100% polycarbonate (lexan). These days god only knows what additives or other plastics are added to mix to shave off a few bucks from the material costs.

Also, I would put a bet on the fact that they were pulled from the original mold. The trim lines are very distinct, not typical of just some yang making a mold from an original body. If my chance they are from a repo mold, the person that did really knew what they are doing. Now, someone just needs to find out who has the mold. She is from Fontana California, not sure if that is close to Losi HQ or not. Any members out that way?

Hey mrlexan, its a no-go on the andy's molds. He said they are gone with the rest of his old stuff. Like I said before, he pretty much just paints bodies now.

I emailed her, and she is not selling any more at the BIN price, guess she's worked out how much they are worth.

The auction finished at $87.50, glad I got in early. I am willing to bet she is going back for more. Someone still has that mold. Once the market is flooded, it won't matter.

I got two of the bodies in today. As Jay said, they are high quality. I took a few pics next to my original (but beat up) Losi body.
