So is this running yet RJ, or are you delaying starting it up (and thus, completing the rebuild) after I threatened to send up 6 or 8 more?

:P
It's pretty much ready to go, just need to hook it up. I was going to send the engines back to you but you wanted to send me a car to put it into

RC10th wrote: Sat Dec 19, 2020 11:40 pm What, U1104G is the correct rod listed for both models?

Must be a production update then.
U1104G is the listed part number for the Conrod for Nitro 10 mk1, mk2, Daytona and Nitro 4x4.....

Whether there was a part update, but Schumacher decided not to change the part number, or whether someone broke their conrod, and replaced it with what they could find, very hard to say  :P
Iv'e had mine apart. Contains exactly the same con rod as your engine, I guess it's the correct one.

Maybe the con rod in the parts bag is the same grade as the aero 15R, perhaps Schumacher cut costs a little on the Nitro 10 series of their engine.
The replacement part seems to be of nicer quality.

Great thread by the way guys. Thanks ;-)

Any ideas on the correct glow plugs for these little gems. Hot,med, cold?

Also nitro and oil percentages?

One day i will want to get mine running, preferably without too much drama :D

Cheers
