So is this running yet RJ, or are you delaying starting it up (and thus, completing the rebuild) after I threatened to send up 6 or 8 more?
It's pretty much ready to go, just need to hook it up. I was going to send the engines back to you but you wanted to send me a car to put it into

What, U1104G is the correct rod listed for both models?
Must be a production update then.
U1104G is the listed part number for the Conrod for Nitro 10 mk1, mk2, Daytona and Nitro 4x4.....
Whether there was a part update, but Schumacher decided not to change the part number, or whether someone broke their conrod, and replaced it with what they could find, very hard to say
Iv'e had mine apart. Contains exactly the same con rod as your engine, I guess it's the correct one.
Maybe the con rod in the parts bag is the same grade as the aero 15R, perhaps Schumacher cut costs a little on the Nitro 10 series of their engine.
The replacement part seems to be of nicer quality.
Great thread by the way guys. Thanks

Here is where all the violence happens.

Any ideas on the correct glow plugs for these little gems. Hot,med, cold?
Also nitro and oil percentages?
One day i will want to get mine running, preferably without too much drama
Cheers
