Dang straight! The trick is to get her stuff that I can play with too. Even though a chipper is "work" (oh, honey, PLEASE don't make me run the chipper )

Then get her what she thinks she wants, but make sure it's too big for her to use and that it's something fun for you to play with!

I'll admit, I've got it pretty easy. My girlfriend loves power tools, so I can get her any kind of gardening stuff. One Christmas I bought her a tool kit for the house - that is to say, I bought a good toolbox, then filled it with all the things most necessary for quick fix-it stuff around the house. My sister said that it wasn't romantic, not intimate enough, not personal enough, so I returned it. When I told the girlfriend the story, she said that she'd have loved something like that, so she got it for her birthday a few months later.

That's funny bc I went to school with this guys son in elementary school... He killed his wife by cutting her up and putting the body through a woodchipper, then dumping the "remains" over a water fall back in the 80's. I think his name was Richard Kraft. Only evidence they found of her was a fragment of a tooth. People in CT really are crazy.

He sounds like a real charmer - I just called him dad! J/K, sounds like that might be where they got the story line for the movie Fargo, at the end of the show, one bad guy is putting another bad guy through an industrial chipper, at least I think it was the bad guy. It's been a while since I've seen the show.

I know the Add. It was Rick Howart. He used to be with Peak and now back at AE. I've had to make some adjustments with my hobby and how its slowly taking over the living room. My goal, once the garage is cleaned out; (Full of boxes cause her mom and S-dad are splitting, so her mom's storing stuff in the garage) I'll have my hobby stuff in the garage.

My new son keeps me pretty occupied. I DID have him on my lap while I was wrenching the other night. Hes got a good grip, he actually held a wrench or 2 for me. He is pretty inquisitive and he kept his eyes on my RC stuff, even when i was looking at it. I think I've got a potential racer on my hands!

Wait till he starts referring to your stuff as his . I put the Tammy TGX in my Hyper bag Saturday, heading out to run some with my brother. My four year old said Daddy, were you going with my car....

He insisted I share it with him once we started running it. I tell him to share with his younger sister and he throws it back at me when I am doing something he wants to do. I didn't share with him Saturday. Something about a four year old who can hardly wipe his arse, driving a 45mph ankle biter, does not sit well with me yet. I need to finish his truck. Soon...

I know the feeling. I had my clods on a job site and was running them when the homeowner pulled up with a couple young grand kids, both under 6. They were having a great time with it, especially when they sent it under a horse trailer and impaled the windshield on one of the spring shackles. That was the end of their fun, they'd been warned not to run it into things and had a HUGE open driveway with nothing to hit, and had to send it to the only corner with an obstacle and BANG!

It was an awful lot like Keeper and BloodClod (Clodtalk buddies ) who kept trying to run my maxx into the only chunk of concrete that was on the beach, the day we all met up in San Francisco. Damn kids!
