Does anyone have news about the release date? Schumacher's communication is not optimal on this to say the least. Not really nice when you put the money forward and get no update whatsoever. Quite disappointing!

I am afraid it's been pushed back to July, no day given. Not great for the UK's biggest vintage meeting at the end of the month (July)

Any more info on this? Crickets? Does anyone know if they charge your CC when you preorder or after shipping (whenever that will be)? Also, VAT taken out? Any help would be appreciated.

I asked the same questions in an email to Schumacher and received the following answers. One, if you use a CC, they hold the money until they ship. It will still show up on your statement like a hotel charge (presumably). If you PayPal, it goes immediately. This may have been discussed already. They went on to say the first batch is presold and the 2nd batch will be available in August. VAT is not charged. I haven't seen any evidence of a first shipment yet but maybe someone else has?

No kiddin'... I was shocked but enthusiastic when I first read about it. Then my sixth sense told me to wait for the physical release before paying for one. I'm thinking this is a lot of resources and investments to lauch sthing like this for a small brand like Schumacher.
Fingers crossed that it happens...
