How time flies.
I just read my lost post to this topic was in sept 08.
I have been busy with getting my other cars fixed up and this project took a back seat.
I have stripped the black paint of the roll cage (solid 2 days work) and found the plastic under the black, red, orange and white paint (4 layers) to be in poor condition with heavy scratching and gouging ?
I was talking to a guy on another forum and I'm gonna get the cage chromed shortly (thanks jak) hopefully it will come out ok.
I just completed the steering mod last night and assembled the main chassis.
Bormac let me borrow his mugen to get the steering components measured up and also provided me some kyosho axle shafts for the steering mod. (thanks Jason)
Just got to get some ball connectors and I will be able to finish it.
I will post pics tonight.

Hi
I just did the same mix as retro Rc under "Mugen Bulldog Steering Modification" thread.
I am going to use hotshot knuckles for now as I don't have spare money for ultima ones ATM
I will post some pics tonight but it is all explained by Bormac under the mod thread.
I am happy to pm you with more info if you need it.

Well got my car finished with the cage from the chromers.
Cage is crap but better than bits of black red orange and blue.
Driver is still on the paint table.

I hope the chrome doesn't chip off when you run it?
