Re: Kyosho Fantom EP 4WD Ext (1/12th scale 4WD pan car)
I don't think it will fit correctly I think the Spada shell is wider and longer than the EP Fantom. I had a Spada and I think I tried to set the body on my Fantom and it did not line up correctly. but I am old and forget things.
Have a nice day!

Re: Kyosho Fantom EP 4WD Ext (1/12th scale 4WD pan car)
hey all, i signed up here yesterday after doing a google search for the 1/12 Kysoho Fantom. i found this site having the most current topics on the car so here i am
i own one in NEW condition, with a NEW Lemans 240s, and a personally custom painted newer Parma body. the car is really nice, and im looking to sell it. ill post pics later on today once i take some.
i own 6 RC, 3 vintage, and 3 runners. im looking to sell off a few like a 1/12 Tamiya 956, and a hopped up Losi Mini LST. ill be happy to send or post pics of everything i wish to sell. btw, i was lucky enough to own an original RC-10, store bought new in the box, back in the 80's. it had an Andy's body, and an aluminum wing. pretty sweet! now my shelf king is a fully gold Kyosho Optima, 480gold Lemans, custom Optima Pro body and home made wing. i think its one of the nicest ive seen on Tamiyaclub, very custom up to date look.
so, if anyone is interest in my Fantom, please let me know. whole care only, not parting out a single thing. thanks

Please follow the rules. Welcome to the board, hopefully you can become a member who is active in discussion.
We're all cheapskates, by the way. ebay is probably your best bet for top dollar. The BST on this forum is better suited to people trying to help other people finish restorations.
Looking forward to pictures, we like pictures!

That's a LOT of pictures... maybe have a little consideration and edit them down to just a few...or remove them since the car is on ebay and isn't really part of this restoration thread.
Looks nice, too bad it seems like you're spamming without playing by the rules.

Re: Kyosho Fantom EP 4WD Ext (1/12th scale 4WD pan car)
so u think restoration means buying all new parts and calling it restored? this thread is simply about the Fantom, not about restoration - read the title 'Kyosho Fantom EP 4WD Ext (1/12th scale 4WD pan car)'. i dont care if u mod this site, or that u seem a little bit retarded... i came here to allow a true fan of this car, a chance to own a new one. but you're right, im spamming a forum on Fantoms with a car thats obviously made u envious enough to spit out snipets of ridiculosis; go screw yourself, im out for good...

Nice you actually read the thread, and read the forum rules!botou888 wrote: you're right, im spamming a forum on Fantoms with a car thats obviously made u envious enough to spit out snipets of ridiculosis; go screw yourself, im out for good...

Anyway, you got your BIN. End of story.
Can you edit your pics now? Nice to have a few, but the thread was actually started by me to chronicle my resto which, like so many here, did use some new parts. Clinehobbies put pics of his up to show where he's at, you could have done the same without spamming your auction. We all appreciate nice vintage RC cars here.

Nice!
Boy, that sure wouldn't be my first choice in a replacement body though.

I could post some pictures of more correct bodies for the fantom. It might only be about 50+ pictures
What a waste of time that guy has been Ebay hocking that fantom for months at outrageous bin prices. All most as bad my auction bin'S

Check back on the third page, it's done other than finding a nicer body. I haven't found any more new parts to throw at it, if that's what you mean.clinehobbies wrote: Temple how is the restore going???
