Don't forget less durable. High-revving, low-cube motors have a shorter lifespan than the opposite. You can't have it all.

My 250,000 mile 1.6 liter Miata would disagree.

At any rate, they still offer a V8, so it's choose-your-own-adventure.

It's NA, bone-stock, but I've seen plenty of turbocharged 4s with 200k on them (stock, sane amounts of boost, not aftermarket hack-jobs). And I've had V8s that burned oil like crazy at 100k.

But as I said, different strokes (and bores) for different folks...

The new 5.0 is *anything* but antique. You DO know that not a single part of shared with the last 5.0 made don't you?

id like a non turbo 4 cl, manual with small 14 inch steel rally wheel (cheap tires) and a price tag of $14,000... ill keep dreaming

And manual-crank windows, and an engine compartment you can actually FIND and REACH things in, and a stereo that you can work without having to read the manual first.

and if you are buying a mustang (or any other modern muscle) with fuel economy in mind, thats just silly.

If the only means of loading the back is through the window then I'd call that rendering a hatch, not of a wagon. A proper wagon should have a drop down tail gate.

If Ford actually made that 4-door 'Stang, imagine the customer confusion choosing between the Fusion (already a 4-door that looks like a 'Stang) and the Mustang (a 2-door Fusion with performance chassis & drivetrain)....the new Fusstang perhaps? Or the new Mussion?
