Re: The Vintage 1/8 Onroad Thread
Is BMT after 1990?V12 wrote:Starting this thread as a common place for all vintage 1/8 scale onroad cars. Show your Delta, Thorp, Marker, MRP, Dynamics, Associated, or whatever car you have. Show vintage stuff as old bodies, rare motors, carburators or mufflers. Ask any questions on unknown stuff etc.
Please just vintage cars, let´s say until 1990, also please 1/8 onroad cars only, no offroad, trucks or similar.

Depends on the model number 9XX series are after 1990 -
891 (4wd) is from 88-89 and the 892 (2wd) was released in ´91.
Really neat cars if You ask me.

I really can´t decide which of my 1/8th bodies is my overall favourite, but for sure it´s one of my Top 5 picks. Who knows the type and make of this body?
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Perhaps someone can confirm...BMT 892 with optional 3 - Speed with Electronic Fuel Regulator. I cant take credit for the shell, it was sprayed by a good mate of mine from Aloha.

Wow, that´s some very fine BMT´s You´ve got there
From what I could find - the last car pictured would be the 891 4wd Austin Custom " light "
Must be the last of the 891´s

Re: The Vintage 1/8 Onroad Thread
This was one of four used BMT's i got from a retired team driver. It came with this blue thicker chassis which the seller told me was machined for team drivers. I had all the scratches removed then re-anodized in the original blue color. I also did some other parts in blue just to add some features to set mine apart. I think this is a Active 95R, but hopefully someone can help me out and identify it correctly.

Those BMT's are nice. Did Kyosho distribute them for a while or something? I remember seeing Tower was selling a Kyosho BMT 1/8 gas chassis back in the day.
