The novak T1 was the hottest speed control to have way way back in the day since it was smaller than the T1X and could handle lower turn motors than the T4. You know you want it apex!

Yeah, with everything on that car being NOS, for the most part, it'd have to be a really perfect ESC to put into that car. It might be worth a flyer, though, if the price stays low. I can always rewire it, too, if the wires look too beat.

I'm working on finding photos of the ProLine body I'm seeking, too. I know I have something around here with a picture of it...

Also, JG made a small, kydex lip with a machined aluminum very tiny rear body mount that sat in the center of the rear shock tower. It was basically about the size of a quarter, folded in half with this little tiny bullet screwed into it. Anyone wander across one of these or ever even seen one?

Was that JG part suppose to act as a rear sprint car body mount? Mounts on the shock tower and then curves back and downward?

Nope, it was tiny, and was essentially a small "L" bracket that was made for off road body mounts. I ran one on my Schumacher Cat (they didn't have bodies past the rear shock tower), and one on my RC10. At a certain point in the 80s, most people stopped using the entire rear of the body past the shock towers like we do now. It was too much of a pain to remove the wing all the time just to take the body off, plus the wing came out on the track if you weren't really careful.

I'll have to draw it up from my memory if I can't find any photos of it.

SCORE! Thanks for that tip! I appreciate it.

No, unfortunately that Proline body isn't the one. I found a photo of the body in an old Competition Plus, I just need to scan it. After talking with my brother about it, neither of us are sure what it was called.

Only a few items remaining for the car...

And after 3 hours of wrestling with my scanner, I finally got it to work again. I found photos of the original Proline buggy body that I have been looking for. It's on an Ultima, but it's the identical body.
