Hi Paul,I am thinking of fitting full electics, but finding cells in good condition has not been easy so far.
If you get stuck on these let me know. I have plenty of nice cells should you want some.

Original Tekin 411 is 1992, so 411P2 maybe one or two years later. Correct Tekin would be a Tempfet or Tempfet Pro but these are not easy to find. Novak T1 or T4 are easier to find.CAT3K wrote:Thanks guys
I am thinking of fitting full electics, but finding cells in good condition has not been easy so far. I have a Futaba S9401 coreless servo to fit which is period as i used in in 1990I also have a Tekin 411P2 esc but i think these were about 1993? so a bit out.
Paul.
The Speedmaster ESCs were very popular with racers in the UK during this time - a Goldstar (Fwd only) was my first ever electronic speed controller that I brought second hand when I first got my TopCat - it served me well until the brake FETs blew - but I still have it and I will prob install it into my 'new' TopCatCAT3K wrote:I have a Tekin 410K which is too late, a Nosram F1 a Futaba 210 and a Speedmaster Silverstar. The Silverstar would be more period correct, but it's just the look of them i don't like...
