The plan so far is that the club IS going to have their weekly dirt oval racing Saturday night so anyone that has dirt cars bring them down. We normally run 17.5 outlaw but we'll run anything that we have 2 cars for and a few of us have big boys toys sprints as well. Where in the past you had the track owners hitting you up for "club racing" for what you were there racing anyway, at least this is something extra that you can do if you want! :) I really do hope everyone has a great time. As the Secratary and a member of the club it really does mean a lot to me to have it at the track this year and I'm really excited to try something totally different!

Cool, I've always wanted to see an R/C sprint car race! I've been to Knoxville and seen the big guys, it'll be cool to see the little guys.

Hey Erich, does the race track have a hobby shop on site? I think I'll need a new battery, just seeing if I should order one or wait to buy it at the track.

Because we're racing at a club track this year, Wolcott Hobbies has been named as the offical hobby shop of the 2012 Vintage Offroad Nationals. Lester and the crew from Wolcott Hobbies will be there with their mobile hobby shop all weekend for anyone that needs... well ANYTHING. You can check them out and give them a call if you want to order something ahead of time at /www.wolcotthobby.com

Funny you should mention that, we're doing the track tomorrow so I will this week. Does this mean you're coming to the race this year finally?

I'm sorry to hear that you guys. Two of my favorite guys.

On another note, TRACK IS DONE THIS WEEK!!! If you go to the facebook page you can see some pics that were taken before the jumps went in. SInce the picture we've adjusted the layout to be a little more interesting and we've been building jumps all week. The track will be open for anyone interested in coming down to run on saturday. It'll just be open practice. See you guys soon, only two weeks left!

I'm 100%. I'll probably head up Saturday morning. Just finished my Clod, and the Scorcher is pretty much ready too. I'm ready to race! :D
