After a couple hours of searching you find the part you need in the bottom of the last box you opened.

I actually had something like that recently. I was looking through my old associated track bag for turbo optima parts. Then I ran across a few old reedy motors, and a Hydra drive... then I took some pictures to show friends what I found. Then I stopped looking because I had found cool stuff, only to realize later I never found the kyosho stuff.

when you get a huge order from tower and the first thing you do after removing the new parts from their boxes is to go and fill the boxes with old parts you do not currently need to make room for the new stuff.

Typically I agree with that, but once it hits 20 years old, RC stuff is exempt from the brand rules :D
