Who have you met in person?
Re: Who have you met in person?
Forum members or people in the Industry? I don't have pics (who knew I'd or anybody else would think RC would make it this long)
but I have met alot of notable people back in the day. I'm 55 and was into RC back when Associated first came out with the RC10. Yeah I don't have any of the old cars any more. Sold them CHEAP way back then. What a Dumbass I am.

Re: Who have you met in person?
I was on a working holiday for 6 months in the U.K.
I met some really nice guys through my racing in the U.K. The first was Daryn Boyle from D.M.S Racing who helped me out so much to set up my cars for grass tracks & a toured the U.K with him doing the BRCA series. A young charger was with us too by the surname of Bloomfield (forgot his first name) who is now a top U.K driver.
While I was there I managed to arrange a factory tour of Schumacher. There I met Phil Booth, Robin & Cecial Schumacher. Was a real pleasure meeting these guys. Right next door to their factory is Coworth Engineering. Gee I was just in cloud 9.
Cheers
Mark

Re: Who have you met in person?
A lot of friendly people amongst these pages. I had the oportunity to meet Scott - MelvinsArmy - a few months back after following an eBay transaction and unfortunately, on my part, it was an uber fast meet because although I managed to sneak away from work, i had to rush right back. as usual... haha. very nice guy

Re: Who have you met in person?
I've met Diamond Dave & Rod (slotcarrod), a couple cow-towners (Calgary, Alberta)...a couple of cool dudes! Unfortunately I haven't had much opportunity to get back to Calgary, but y'all will have to let me know if you drive up the road to Edmonton.
