I thought people like him only traveled via wherever the mothership drops them off... I'll have to start checking the area corn fields for his arrival come end of August. :D

There are 2 people currently signed up in the 2WD class according to the website. One lists their car as a B3 and the other as a 22. All classes are supposed to be 1994 and earlier aren't they? Perhaps that should be written much larger and in bold print to get the point across. The B2 didn't show up until 1995 and the B3 in 1997. If the cutoff is 1994, they are limited to any RC10 pre B2 and on the Losi side any JRX variant through to the original XX at the newest.

Ya the problem was that RCsignup requires a car type but they don't have vintage cars in their list. I emailed him a list of cars to be added and it should be fixed by now. Bearickster has a Losi xx and the other guy put a B3 but has a rc10

That makes sense. I was thinking that no one knew the meaning of the word "vintage".

With the cutoff being 1994, does that mean anything before 1994 or anything through 1994?

from what I understand, anything manufactured up to 1994. The cars can be modified, but only with modifications that could have been done back in the day.

Sorry if this has already been addressed but I am confused about why race buggies are allowed in "Classics". Is there a difference between "race" and "pro"? Box stock should level the playing field somewhat but still seems odd.

I am not being critical. Just looking for some clarification.

No problem! I'm here to answer questions. The reason rc10s are allowed is because there were some people that wanted to run true "as they came out of the box" original rc10s. Yes they perform better than the Tamiyas etc. Because of this I made the rule that the can't be modified at all and have to run the shorter suspension and also the original small tires. Between the lesser suspension as well as the harder compounds and spiked tread pattern tires they should be at enough of a disadvantage to equalize them with the others. Believe it or not when I started racing it as common to see the orig rc10 running with Falcons and Frogs. I raced my Falcon in 2wd Stock until I got my first rc10 even.

I'd put money on Brandon's Frog stomping any short armed 6 gear RC10. That thing was wicked.

I haven't decided about that yet, I think If I drive and run up through the DEL MAR VA Peninsula then it won't be more than 12 hours- It took Lowry less than 8 to get to Dover DE from my place-

September 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th huh!?
I am starting to think about coming up. When talking to the hotel for rates, add a room for me as I may just go to run my RC10 CE up there. It has been a long time since I have run my RC10's in CT!

Let's see how my plans shape up here in the next few months and you might see me up there sharing with you all. If I go I'll be flying up as I can't stand driving for more than 2 hrs.

My stock CE with Tekin RS should be legal right?
Is the class limited motorwise to 17.5 limited or can I run a quicker one?

I'm hoping that guys with JRX2's show up to run to have the classic battles once again.

I'm going to try one last time with the hotel this week so HOPEFULLY I'll get somewhere. Yes your CE is perfectly fine. We run 17.5 in 2wd. Thanks!
