Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ Kit Exclusive Edition
Will do as soon as the weather gets nice, which should be pretty soon.bearrickster wrote:mine to its all over the place also. I am looking in to that also let me know how it runs please.MelvinsArmy wrote:I put a ball diff in mine, but I haven't run it since putting it in. When I drove the car without one, it was a bit wild and hard to control, I figured the diff might help out. I wonder why they discontinued it? It seems like a smart upgrade.
The first time I took it out I was really surprised at how fast the car is. I'm thinking the ball diff will make it easier to drive.

I ordered a set of these wheel halfs has anyone else bought them from this guy? you couldnt beat the price 35.00 shipped. they sure look good in his pictures. I want to get the bumpers but my bank has to cool off for a while.they are a little on the pricy side I may try and make them first.

Good stuff!
I ordered a set for my Ultima/'Scorcher imposter and had no problems from this vendor.
For the money, they're a great deal.
I'm getting ready to order another set for my: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=12952

I have that same Baja Bug Body I am working on to put on my Buggy Champ. I bought the hard plastic one. what a chore to cut out all of the windows!! it took me two days. this plastic is tough to work with.

Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ Kit Exclusive Edition
I think I know the body you're talking about, isn't that the Kamtec ABS?
I've got their lexan version on my B2 Baja.
Mine is just a modified 24 year old Monster Beetle with a Proline front clip.

Your right mine is a Kamtec ABS its a lot tuffer than the Tamiya shell. I think you could toss it into the wall and do more damage to the wall.Diggley wrote:I think I know the body you're talking about, isn't that the Kamtec ABS?

Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ Kit Exclusive Edition
These are cool cars. I got a Buggy Champ last year and have it polished and am working on the modified rear suspension set up. I am too cheap so I just ordered the Schorcher body kit with the front body mount post and exchange it with Buggy. One chassis, two cars.

The Fox, Falcon, 9 RC10s black/gold/graph, Optima Mid SE EXT, Losi XXXT, B3, B4, 3 T4s, Evader BX, Evader ST, Buggy Champ '09, Sand Scorcher '10, RC10T, RC10DS

Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ Kit Exclusive Edition
I just opened it up and got a free bag. their was a tote bag in it. I have seen them on Ebay but did not know they were in all of them. Tower didnt say anything about their being a bag in the kit just a bonus.
