Any chance of making a few additional pairs of those pretty arms and selling them here at a reasonable price, bigjeepzz?

I had to order a longer set of shafts for the front shocks because the ones that came with the RB5 were too short.I knew I was going to fun into problems witht he shafts being too long where the piston would hit the caps. I machined some spacers to place on the shafts to give the front arms all the travel they needed and not damaging the shocks on full compression. I also had to machine another set of shock mounts since the RC10 shock mounts i previously had would not work. I may need to find some longer springs but for the time being the springs on the shocks will work.

I also got my strips of CF in so I can make some of the chassis braces I have been looking for. One of the members here was kind enough to offer a set to me so I can use them to come up with a design to cut out of the CF. I should be able to cut the CF easily since I have a braod range of carbide end mills.

I hope to have more pictures soon.

I finished my CF braces tonight. I somewhat used the A&L design but changed a couple of things. I only made the left and right braces and got them mounted. I think they turned out fantastic. They are made out of 1/16 CF. I am afraid they may be a little weaker than I originally thought pretty flexible). I am going to leave them since I took the time to make them.

Since I am planning on running Lipos I had to cut the battery cup. This is also going to force me to come up with a design for the battery hold down. I already have a couple ideas and I will also include some of the CF in that project as well.

What sucks is I keep coming up with different things to do to the car. At this rate I will never get the car done.

This is one of the best "New but old" cars I have seen. The only thing I would recommend is anodize the front nose plate red, gota match the chassis!

Any chance you could make some rear arms that are 1/8th" to 3/16" longer than the stock arms? That would help me out a ton!
