Let me just put it this way, RCHR is going to have the Vintage Race with or without Erich, I spoke to both John and Mark, and the race is going on as planned.

Really? You're going to let one bad apple spoil the barrel?
Sorry to hear it.
i'm not saying i'm not going... but i'd have a much stronger opinion on it if stuff got resolved.

Freddie- I am glad that statement has been made. I was holding off on my reservations based on the lack of follow-through I've been seeing here.

I understand that completely; closure would be healthy for those involved and those who have been watching and feeling the tension. I misread your statement and hope you do decide to join in the fun. :D

Oh, no doubt, I must ask, John, Mark and Will the same question 2-3 times a month...

They've assured me that even if it's not called the Vintage Off Road Nationals, it's still going to be a Vintage Off Road Race  , with all the same rules, etc, etc.

Many of the Local Guys are getting their vintage machines ready for the event. People from Mass. and Long Island are also coming down for this event.

I just hope many of the same people from last year, and a few new ones come down....

Hoopty I'm with you 100%,I haven't had a bad deal with Erich and I' v tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but enough is enough, what he's doing to my fellow talk brothers is wrong.

I keep going back and forth whether I want to go or not, considering what's been going on lately. It would be easier to make a decision if some kind of closure came out of this mess.

I REALLY wish they wouldn't hold this race on Labor Day weekend. I am dying to come hang out, race old cars and show off some "skillz", too bad for me--I might have to send a ride for
someone else to run

Would the Tamiya Bearhawk be considered a "Classics Class" entry??

It's basically a Blitzer Beetle with buggy wheels and tires, and buggy body....

I'm pretty sure the Bear Hawk was based on the Falcon. I would say that would fall in the Classic Class.

Hey guys, I know I've lost a lot of face with you all and I'm doing my best to fix that now. I really do believe that you guys think i was out to rob people and don't trust me and I'm going to do my best to build my reputation back again. Hoopty if I did something to you directly I apologize but I'm not sure I understand what it is. If you have something your mad at me for please PM me or email me so we can talk about it. There are a handful of you guys that are people I considered good friends and I've done something to damage your trust in me but I WILL make right by it again.

As far as what you all have seen going on, I'm refunding money today and hoping that I can start on a new foot with ALL of you. It's been the worst year of my life and I should've never let that affect my reputation with you guys but it did and for that I am the most sorry. I will fix this and get back to who I was.

As far as Mark and John, I haven't heard from them about the race. They both have my number, they but have my email. I've gotten door prizes, tshirts ordered and sponsors on board... just like i did last year. It would be very sad if they decided to go behind my back and do this without me. I hope it never comes to that because I like them both very much and consider them old friends. Like I said, i know the lack of trust and faith in me is my fault but I don't feel that would give people the right to steal my idea away from me if thats what I'm lead to believe by what i've read here.

Ok and now on a little lighter note...

I'm proud to announce Team Associated rejoining the Vintage Offroad Nats as a sponsor. I'm equally as proud to announce that Car Action will be at the race to do a live broadcast and coverage of the race on their site!

Door prizes are starting to come in and there is some pretty cool stuff so far! I hope to see you all there in September!
