I just bought something on impulse (it was cheap) and I don't know what it is. It was listed as "Futaba" but has drive shafts and what appears to be a Traxxas motor so maybe it's Traxxas?

Anyway, it's very clean but maybe it's just some cheap knockoff and not worth the plastic it's made from. It has a rotary mechanical speed control so maybe it's vintage??

Maybe by chance, the owner is a member here and can tell us more about it??

Edit: It looks like "maybe" is my word for today.

It's a Rustler, just an older one.

The older carriers used tiny 5x8 bearings. I'd replace them with newer ones, with the stronger 5x11 bearings.

Fantastic, I was hoping it was a Traxxas so parts for it would be available.

I thought the listing was for the body alone. I liked the shape and the price was reasonable so I clicked and discovered the listing was for the entire truck.

This has been a week of firsts. Monday, it was a Stadium Truck and today it's a Traxxas.

Thank you Mr. Coupe.

Looking at the overall condition, I'd say it had a fairly easy life.

I'd have to agree.
You mentioned that it was old, any guess as to approximate age? I googled Rustler images but, based upon style of wheels and body, all of them appear to be the more modern version.
This is entirely new to me.

My son's truck is ~10 years old. It has the newer grey chassis and larger wheels. It is an XL-5 version with the yellow esc, made at the transition to the TRX battery plug. Also had the Titan motor. At that time, only VXL models had the larger bearing carriers.

So, it's definitely older than that. I'd guess an early 00' version.

Alright, I just won these off of eBay. They were too tempting in looks and price to pass up. I'm hoping they fit my RC10 CE. What do you think? Also, any idea who the manufacturer is? My guess is Bullet Racing Products.

Looks like my intuition was right! :) Now the question is what do they fit? They appear to be for an RC10 going by the backs. I felt the risk in buying them was worth it since even if they don't fit anything I own, the centers are interchangeable. Not that I'll probably ever come across other centers but it makes me feel better about spending money I don't have on the purchase.

Love those!

Looks to me like if you removed the adapters they would then fit (my) Yokomo

This came attached to a motor I just received. Any idea what it's from? It reminds me of a cam style motor mount for a touring car, but maybe too bulky for a touring car.

Don't forget you know people. I can make centers to fit whatever. (As long as it's physically possible )

Very cool, never saw those before. What a great idea to design the wheels with a simple way to change the centers to fit different kinds of cars with just center adapters. Too bad you never see ingenuity like that anymore, it's all about being proprietary.

Not really. Most are hex now, and more standardized offsets are becoming common.
