I understand that. The things I consider parting with usually don't make it out of my collection. Knowing they're going to a good home does help a little.
The MCI label is a nice reproduction. I feel good about relabelling this motor.

Everybody needs a little mystery in their life. Mine is guaranteed to be a hoot to drive around!
Civilguy did an awesome job packing this, which was much appreciated because UPS did an awesome job throwing the package at my front porch.

Finally retrieved the Speed Gems Onyx 14x2 motor that has eluded me for years. Just need a quick cleaning but it runs fantastic and armature looks excellent. Much thanks to our fellow Texan Ed for helping me complete a full set of Speed Gem motors in the collection.

Glad it arrived, although it was interesting seeing how USPS kept routing it back to St. Louis.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
2 packages of awesomeness arrived today. Rear motor guards from RPM and some fresh cut gems from Factory Works. That chassis plate just might spare a T2 chassis from getting a front bob job done to it in my B1.5 project. But those peculiar holes on the sides of the chassis. What could be done with those?

Kinda funny seeing 6 new black motor guards all next to each other in one pic

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

It looks like it may have been built at one point but it was never ran from the looks of it. There are no threads cut in the shock mounts. Though there are threads where the ball joints were installed.

Just to bring the quality of the new arrivals down somewhat since the last post, here's a pile of junk I just got in the mail....
