Today Jim Marshall died. He invented Marshall amplifiers, revolutionizing the way we experience rock and roll.
10 years ago today Layne Staley died. The greatest voice in rock and roll in my humble opinion.

Damn, I had no idea that all that fell on the same day. Weird. Hard to believe Cobain's been dead for 18 yrs. I've been on a full blown jam session tonight with the ol' lady and kid going to bed early. That just steered it in a bit of a different direction. In a good way ironically. I think they would all want it that way.

At 23 I figured I'd be dead by 25. I told all my friends that I wanted this played at my funeral. Glad I changed my wicked ways to see 38.
