I was in Baltimore a couple months ago at a small place that does International shipments. A rather old, hole in the wall place that had several old cars scattered around. A real nice un-restored GTX, and 2 '58 Impalas were near each other. Although both Impalas looked liked they were pulled out of a cornfield, they were complete cars. A very rare sight. The guy in charge told me they were all going to buyers from Eastern Europe. All former Soviet countries. Also said it was a weekly occurrence shipping older cars there via a container.
Unique old cars and buyers. Would have loved to have that GTX.

LOL Did any customers come by and exclaim, "No WONDER they work so bloody slow--look who they're hiring!"

Seriously though, cute li'l guy...looks like a Painted Turtle. I caught one of those accidentally while fishing for sunfish (kind of like perch) in Penticton, B.C.

there's quite a few ponds around the garage...... 2 maybe 75 yards away. it's not the first time we've seen turtles around, they're just usually not in front of the drill press.

the shell was about 7" x 9" or so.... somewhere around there.

Do you know if he had any red or orange markings on the bottom of the shell?

Some fun reading if you're interested; I have a degree in Zoology that's otherwise pretty much useless--except for occasions like this. :P

there a HUGE turtle that we see every few years. our neighbor, who has lived in that area since birth says he remembers that turtle from when he was younger. it's all moss covered, looks like a huge rock if it isn't moving.
