Nice little lot of servos in the mail today. Nothing spectacular, but all in good shape, and the HPIs worth more than I paid for the entire lot.... Now I can offload all those awful Sanwa S102 and Futaba S148 servos I have

They'll probably outlast everything there.

Even with the current servo market, my son even has respect for the S148. Damn things are hard to kill.

The real question is how many does your wife think you have or need ,then the answer is about 50% higher

Another kit for a future trail truck project. My first CC-01 kit.
Not going boxart on this one. In fact, I won't be using the Pajero body. I have something better in mind.

So I did a quick two-minute hunt-around.... and found 76 servos, plus two more I'm sending out to a mate. This doesn't include any servos stashed in boxes in a haphazard way, or any I know are broken (there's LOTS of those).

I have to try and get out of the habit of collecting shelters, but I really felt like I needed this one. Now I feel better about the plan to setup my other gold pan to be runner because it could never be made as nice as this one. Only notable issue that I'm going to fix is that the body shell was painted on the outside. I need to experiment with paint removal so I can repaint it. Otherwise it's a nice condition body.

I'd just do a repo shell. Those early bodies weren't the best quality to begin with.

Luckily, it appears unharmed.

New 4700uF capacitor for my Novak GTX esc. Scored the Kyosho 14x2 Dirt Oval Mega motor super cheap, will get a thorough once over and new MCI decal. More XT60 connectors, planning on changing all my sub 1/8 scale stuff from Deans to XT60.

Wow, talk about luck. There must be a YouTube video out there of someone laughing and beating the @#$! out of that package. Or maybe it was in the bed of the Chevy truck that drove through that tornado.
