Ok... I said I would eat crow... You were right, I'm stoked! Anyway I have put a request into my buddy to pre-order 2 for me.
The 1:1 car looks like Jays 1:1 car with RC10 box art colored panels on it. Last I saw his car was all red at a Lucas oil race here. I had a feeling that it might be that type of buggy. Not disappointed at all. It would have cost a ton of money for them to make a 1:1 RC10. Last I saw Jays Dad, he gave us a tour of Tony Stewarts garage in NC. My wife and I were personally invited by Jay to attend while we were there for 1/8 worlds. His dad manages or at least used to manage Smokes garage. Its been a few years. One of the coolest things I have been privi too.
Sorry, I guess no one has answered, because no one knows yet. I would guess TowerHobbies.com. They are a big retailer for AE and do pre-orders all the time.
Keep checking back, we are all waiting to hear where we need to spend our money
I called my buddy who owns a hobby shop. They don't have a number yet, so when they get one they can basically put it on back order through distributors.
I hope there is a good online place to order, No local shop deals with AE anymore
I'd think they would at least back order but they only thing they do with AE is get rid of the products. Almost every part they have is marked down to $1 though.
I just placed my pre order with the LHS, said at $250 there is very little margin so the prices you see at tower will be pretty standard. I still bargained a little tho
If its pre built I will be pissed
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
So...any word on how a mechanical speed control will work with a lipo?

So, back long ago when I was in middle school and bashing around with my RC10 CE and regularly reading RC Car Action, I seem to remember a how-to published on how to modify the 6-gear transmission in order to reduce internal friction. I don't really...

here it is:
you can do it two ways, running a spacer inside the outdrive where the inner non flanged bearing went, or with a sleeve on the outside of the outdrive behind the 3/8 x 5/8 bearing.
Hi guys. Here is my Team Associated World's Car re-release. I completed the build last year (Sept. 2016). Some of you might remember seeing it. I haven't done anything to it since then, and it has only been driven a couple times. It was a really fun...

Savox can be loud, I almost always use the same model, some make noise and others not a peep. Go figure. I saw a review online that showed Turnigy 1258 is basically identical but around $40. I may try one.
do they give full PDF archives with pictures or just rsandom pages?

Anyone remember Jeepinator(sp?) from the RCCA forums? He was a huge ae fan, and I still remember him buying the first production graphite RC10, and he had many other sweet RC10's. Man I was jealous of him. And Im also jealous of many on these...

Well I'll give you a lesson the handful of dirt oval racers (myself included) have learned. The way to get the coverage you're looking for us certainly not by being negative about what you HAVE received. From any magazines side of it, we look at not...
Hey gang. Long story short-ish, I pulled my vintage clodbuster and rc10 team car out of my dad's storage and wanted to get them going again. The clod is all stock and and the rc10 qas sporting a novak 410 m5 with a speed gems onyx 14t brushed motor....
