oh don't worry................. hoopty will be there for that.

just playin' hoop.
i'm fully aware that i will be nothing more than a brightly colored moving obstacle. i'm cool with it.
watch some old race videos on youtube for technique, practice a little on a clay baseball field, and ill build you a front, rear and side "mad max" style bumper made from tube metal, equipped with metal spikes and a "cow toss" on the front etc, and you can run my rear and take out all the people using losi xx's as their "vintage" entry lol, and ill toss ya a couple bucks after we win lol

i dont know if it would be roar legal though, you know, the spikes and everything lol

Hey hey hey, I rescent that statement, it's personal now, I'll be gunning for you

Oh wait I'm not gonna get into a bumper car scenario with you guys

I ran my RC10T tonight at a trophy race, and won 3 place medal in the sportsman class, not bad for a 20 year old car. :D

Are you guys going to paint the best line around the track for the Nats? or is that your secrect way to learn the track :)

Nahh that's an Digital Line, like the world racord line in the Olympic's swimming meet

That line sure helps with learning the fastest way around the track, but I've noticed that Mark's RC10 is the only one to follow it almost perfectly :? I think he's got his car magnetized with the track, and that allows the car to run over the line everytime. :D

Do I have to register online? Also, how do I reserve a work/pit area or is it first come first serve? I have never raced at a real track before, so I have lots of questions. I am going to be at the track around 10:30 on saturday, is that too late. Excuse my noobness.

The Pit area tables are first come first served, as for registration, they're still working that out, I think it'll depend on the turnout, if they have too many racers, they'll probably do qualifiers on Saturday and Mains on Sunday, or split the qualifiers between Saturday and Sunday.

Don't worry about the noob thing, I've only been driving my cars in the VONATs course for two weekends and that's how much experience I have with racing off road

I don't mind bringing a table & chair for pitting, but is there enough room? Should I bring an ez-up or tent if latecomers will be outside?

Also, as soon as possible I will register. Just give the word!

A suggestions unless Mark or Erich state otherwise, you should bring if available a multi-outlet thingy, you know, the ones that have like 5 or 6 outlets, and an extension, just to help out with the electricity distribution, at the track they have 2 and 4 outlet boxes, and pretty much they'll be likely occupied by the people using the pit tables.

I'll bring a table and chair, in case someone needs it, and an extension line.

Just a suggestion :D

i totally think newbies driving 14 hours should at least get a coin toss on a pit table. BUT thats just my opinion...

I sure hope I don't need to bring a table and a chair with me on the plane
