I got a big bag of nothing thanks to the jackholes at the PO....
empty envelope.

I can only hope the Velcro strap that was supposed to be in there jammed and destroyed a very expensive piece of machinery at the sorting facility.

Guess I should go bump that wanted ad for Vintage velcro. :?

This is what happens when the package was thick enough that it should've been classified as parcel instead of a letter rate(explains the cheap postage price). Either the seller took the cheap route with a self service machine, or the Postal clerk let it slip through. The parcel rate packages do not go through automated sort machines. Looks like your package definitely did. Ask me how I found this out.

I submitted a claim form after receiving an empty, uninsured package like this,
I put as detailed a description as I could.
(It was a vintage Trinity motor - I even drew a picture of an electric motor on the claim form...)

And, much to my surprise, the motor showed up in a post-office package a couple weeks later! I never thought I would actually get that lost motor. :!:

Ah, that makes sense. The velcro strip did have plastic blocks at the ends of it. The hole in the package looks like it would have been almost the exact shape and size of the velcro strap. I guess it got jammed in the letter machine and ripped out. Great...

I got a car that had almost no competition  electric 1/8 never took off, this was a Cobra and I don't recall anyone else building one (except conversions). The hard part will be tires.

I asked when I ordered my other 22 body from them if they would be doing any vintage stuff and got no response. I would love to have some Andy's painted stuff for my old school rides.
