Not quite the post... a local pickup win off eBay. Cool, and very cheap, box of junk:

A real hodge-podge of mixed parts, from heaps of wheels and tyres, to Frog and Fox gears and bits, to a couple of sets of Porsche 959 headlights.... a trio of usable receivers from Futaba and AE, a Tamiya TLU LED light unit (WITH POWER PLUG!!!), a brand new LiPo buzzer...... and even a complete old model Pajero spare tyre sprue.

Definitely happy for the price :D :D :D

A whole mess of stuff from Grainger. I actually got more than that but the rest isn't hobby related. I should be good on wing and nose tubes for a while.

I received that exact same Lightly Tuned Tamiya brushed motor in a parts lot including the F-Bomb WLToys 144001 project car I'm working on for my daughter. 28T...what might be suitable applications for this motor? Any 1:10 buggy you want to go quite slow? A crawler perhaps?

I already knew that it was slow-ish to begin with. That didn't really bother me as this vehicle rarely gets used.

But its going into my semi-restored Stadium Blitzer, it deserves a Tamiya motor. It has a Futaba MC 112B esc in it, so I am limited in motor selection. I'll switch to the larger pinion option, but that will be about it.

It previously had a Kyosho 34° Super Stock in it but it is going into my 2014 Beetle.

Thanks, let me know what you think of it when you put it in your Blitzer. I'm not sure what use I'll have for mine, it came in a lot with 3 other brushless and 1 other brushed motor. I assume it runs a tad better than a stock Mabuchi, with better quality in general...plus being rebuildable and having adjustable timing.

From what I've read, it is supposed to be a rebuildable replacement for the silver car. Supposed to have about the same top speed but better torque.

As it comes, the timing is locked. But the modification is simple.

NIB Futaba FXT chassis set. Also found a "like-new" original FXT manual, currently waiting to arrive from Germany.
